The Streupas moor (also called Landes de Streupas) is located above the western slope of the Ourthe overlooking Streupas. This is an area designated as a site of great biological interest, part of the Domaine du Sart-Tilman (northern zone). This open space is made up of a heather heath (Calluna vulgaris), a grassy Molinie heath (Molinia caerulaea)3, and a short calaminar lawn formed by a few metallophytic and pseudometallophytic plants4,5. The main heath covers an area of approximately 10 ha.
