The oldest large company in the city emerged from this company - the Franz Theodor Foerster candle factory.
The lively lines of the door frame and the delicately decorated front door itself bear witness to the cheerful style of that time - the Rococo. The subsequent enlargement of the windows on the ground floor only slightly reduced the grace of the facade.
