The entire complex has been part of the Erzgebirge Mining Region UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2019. There are corresponding information boards on the buildings on the site.
In 2020, the entire site was sold to an investor who is having the converted boiler, machine and shaft house extensively renovated and converted. In the future, the building will be used as an upscale restaurant and small hotel.
