The two stamp mill ponds on the outskirts of Langenau in the middle of the countryside are witnesses of mining in the 16th century. At that time they were used to supply water to the neighboring mines. The lower pond is often used for bathing today, but in summer there is a large sunbathing lawn, sanitary facilities and a kiosk. There is also a hiking trail around the two ponds.
