Idyllically located on the eastern shore of Wolletzsee, in 1927 a bathing beach was built through the city of Angermünde. The otherwise almost completely surrounded by forest Lake has been part of the city since the 14th century and is located in the Biosphere Reserve Schorfheide-Chorin.

The lifeguard-guarded facility is spacious and offers several volleyball courts, table tennis tables, a large children's playground, sunny and shady squares, a long jetty with a diving platform and a bathing island. A colorful range of exceptional pedal boats and beautiful rowing boats complete the pleasure of the day. The water quality of the lake is regularly awarded the "Blue Flag." All over Brandenburg, with its many clean lakes, there are only four of these coveted awards of the environmental symbol.

During the summer season, a bus runs from the Angermünde train station to the Wolletzsee lido, about five kilometers away.
Every summer a pop concert, a big dragon boat race and a summer beach party take place in the summer and these attract visitors from near and far to the beach Wolletzsee.
