The stock exchange palace in Porto is visually reminiscent of a town hall or public building. The high tower with its four clocks in each direction and the balcony on the second floor are a reminder of this. In fact, however, the building is the former stock exchange of the city of Porto. It was built in the middle of the 19th century on the remains of a ruined monastery. The stock exchange palace, which looks inconspicuous from the outside, reveals all its beauty to visitors. It is no coincidence that the building in the old town of Porto is a popular tourist destination. The Arabian Hall is particularly beautiful.

Beautiful area, close to the river. From here you can visite the Douro bridge (D. Luís I), visite the old Alfandega do Porto or go uphill to S.Bento Railway station.
