Foroglio is here called representative of the many small villages and farms that line the trail in Val Bavona. Hiking

Ticino is rich in waterfalls. The most spectacular is that of Foroglio in the Bavonatal (upper Maggiatal). The water rushes down from a height of 110 meters and offers a great spectacle with its foaming and spraying. Very picturesque is also the village, with its houses, which flock around the little church and remind of the life of the past generations, who here grazed the cattle and only stayed from spring to autumn in the Bavona valley.
