A few years ago, efforts were made to make the Leopold Canal and its surroundings more attractive for hikers and recreational users. It remains a very quiet area but you will now also find some nice extras such as three foot ferries that allow walkers to get from one side to the other. Here, on the Houtlanddijk, you will find one of them. Very fun and easy to do and a short but cool experience with unforgettable views.
