The crooked Fenn at Lanke is a 3.2-hectare, no-bog mire location. By refurbishing 125 meters of ditch between the moor and the neighboring lake Krumme Lanke in the winter of 2011/2012, water from the lake can again flow into the moor, which is about half a meter deeper. The water balance of the moorland site benefits sustainably from this solution.
