The chapel fits very well in the vineyards. Unfortunately it was closed, but the benches in front of it serve as a resting place with a view of Abenheim

The Klausenberg Chapel* was first mentioned in 975. In 1298 there was a hermitage there. The chapel was destroyed and rebuilt several times. In 1720 a new building was built in the late Gothic style, as it still exists today.Source: Brochure of the Abenheim local history associationOpening times: May-September every second Sunday of the month from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.* "St. Michael's Chapel on the Klausenberg" is the official name, but nobody really says that here.
