The Ludewigslinde, which stands on a hill on the southern edge of the park. The 150-year-old Ludwigslinde planted by Ludwig Graf von Erbach-Schönberg grew here until it fell victim to a storm in 1999. It was replaced by a new linden tree in 2000.

At the Ludwigslinde there is a refuge 50 m away when it rains. From here various paths lead down through the vineyards:
It is best for wheelchair pilgrims to continue straight ahead at the refuge.
You can already see the route from above. It is a well-paved path, partly paved, that circles the vineyard in a left-hand arc.
It leads steeply over the Herrenwingert car park through the residential area to the Schönberg Mitte stop. Here with the public transport back to Bensheim or further to Reichenbach. The pilgrims can spend the night barrier-free in the guest house of Gasthaus Traube.
