I visited the Basilica of the Fourteen Holy Helpers as a child, but I had no memories of it. Now they've been refreshed. 😊

A quiet little village with a rather idyllic atmosphere. The castle ruins are being "repurposed." There are apartments on the rather small site, so there are a few castle maidens to be found here and there. 😉



The loop takes you both through the valley of the Black Laaber and along the high trail. There

A short loop where you can enjoy two viewpoints: the Kanzel (pulpit) and the Vogelfels (bird rock). More or less depending on the season. 😉



The Molsberger Tal nature reserve is always worth a detour, even just to enjoy the peace and quiet.

A leisurely walk. If you like narrow paths, the Winterleite is the perfect place.

A small, unintentional river crossing was necessary today. 😊🫤 After 10.5 km, vegetation and a private road blocked the way. So, plan B: find a path through the Weiße Laber. Shoes off and through. Refreshing. 😉 On the other side, there was another path.

In addition to highlights like the fortress (check opening hours), the Glatzstein with its wonderful view of Nuremberg, and the Grosser Hans-Görgel, there are also some very beautiful paths and trails. Sometimes flowing, other times quite steep.

Today I had the problem twice that I couldn't go any further. Either the path was blocked or there was no one in sight. Therefore, the recording is a bit confusing.😎



Neubürg is the perfect mountain for viewing in all directions. As a table mountain, like Walberla or Stafelberg, the conditions are perfect

I actually still had plans to "climb" the Monte, but given the temperatures, I decided against it. Especially since it would have been more like one step forward and two steps back in the sand. And unfortunately, the ascent aid wasn't working that day. 🫤

Otherwise, I had a bit more asphalt under my feet today. Unfortunately, there's no other way around it on this loop. And on two of the paths, not much of the trail was visible. I could have really used a pair of hedge trimmers there

A route that offers much more than just the Twelve Apostles. It takes you along all sorts of paths, in sunshine and through the forest. It never gets boring.



Thirsty travelers can enjoy a cool 🍺🍧 at the beautifully situated Hammermühle campsite. The Gasthof zum Brunnen in Mörnsheim was also open on
