Castle ruins, observatory, castle tavern and youth hostel - this old castle complex is anything but useless today. You also have a wonderful panoramic view of the Upper Rhine Plain from up here. The castle is worth a detour in many ways.

The Burgschenke is open on weekends from 12 p.m. in summer, and also from 2 p.m. on Wednesdays to Fridays.
