Frau Holle - a fairy tale character of the kind woman who has become goblin-like here. A standing figure that seems to express mainly through face and restrained body movements: diligence is rewarded, laziness is punished. Her elevated position suggests the celestial realm she operates in, but her hat also makes her whimsical and human. This figure is the counterpart to the artist's figures installed in the Hessisch Lichtenau area under the title "Visit to Mrs. H.".
