Cycling

Beautiful section of the Hercules-Wartburg cycle path along the weirs through the Gelltal. The cycle path from Kasseler Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe in northern Hesse to Wartburg near Eisenach in western Thuringia is approx. 110 kilometers long. The entire route is mostly flat on well-developed paths and is signposted with the “Herkules-Wartburg-Radwanderweg” logo.
