The Montaña Blanca, with its 1.2 km diameter caldera, is the largest volcanic crater on Lanzarote.
The ascent went from the parking lot through the lava fields of the eruptions of 1730-36, over the smaller neighbor Montaña Caldereta. From there, you already have a great view of the surrounding area.

The Berlin Wall Trail Run in August every year was coming up and was supposed to be my first run. With a cut-off time of 30 hours, it seemed feasible to cover the distance of 162 km at a faster marching pace!

A short tour on the doorstep to the Grüner See near Eiterhagen.
It went nicely up shady paths to the lake. It is located at 400m altitude very idyllically and quietly in the forest.

After the World Cup football match, we went out into the night to be at the Frau Holle window on the Kopperod until sunrise.
