Roman Water Conduit and Fountain at Annaberg Villa

Resting place at a historical place, namely a historical aqueduct.
It is the only remnant of the "Römervilla am Annaberg", a Roman estate that was inhabited from the 1st to the 4th century AD. The luxury at that time showed itself among other things. to underfloor heating and a separate bathing building.

The fountain here is reminiscent of these Roman aqueducts that were only excavated in 1979 (see the faded inscription on the memorial stone).

Right next to the path is the old Roman fountain. Opportunity to pause and take a break on the bench.
