Sehr schön.Kostet entrance, but it is inside made everything new with multimedia show and exhibition. In good weather you can eat and drink well behind the castle in the Lindenklause

Very nice location and well renovated castle. The children (4 + 9) thought it was good. The whole thing is rounded off by the Lindenklause. Very nice service and good food with fair prices.

Pretty big castle complex. The largest part of the castle is chargeable. Right next door there is the Lindenklause ideal for rest.

The Hardenburg, one of the most powerful castles of the Palatinate. The castle ruins can be visited by paying the entrance fee, it is a listed building.

The Hardenburg is one of the most powerful castles in the Palatinate. It is located at 200.4 m on a 200 m long mountain nose to the right above the Isenach valley. Hardenburg was built by the Counts of Leiningen in the period between 1205 and 1214 at the latest. For this they illegally appropriated land that belonged to the Limburg monastery. A somewhat hidden vantage point a few meters from the hiking trail, which offers a beautiful view of the valley and the Hardenburg ruins - from an unusual perspective.

At this point, you should be careful with children - risk of falling!
