Tasks and goals:
The most important and outstanding task of the association is the preservation of the ruin Wachtenburg. After partial exposure of the remaining foundations and outer walls of different building epochs, it is necessary to perform the backup and rehabilitation with suitable materials, based on modern and modern knowledge and techniques so carefully that the substance is secured for the next generations. In addition, the care of the environment of the castle is an important matter, so that the view of the castle walls is possible from all sides. Order and cleanliness of the castle grounds should give a visually positive image.
