Beautiful valley with vineyards, dry stone walls, beautiful plants and great hiking trails.

The nature conservation association POLLICHIA has been involved here since 1986. "The ultimate goal was to preserve an old cultural landscape with numerous terraces and walls. For this reason, land was acquired step by step, some of which had to be cleared of bushes. Old fruit varieties were planted on some of these areas, while other areas were opened up through mowing or goat grazing held."

A small valley with a Mediterranean flair: Above the (limestone) slopes of the Felsenberg and below in the Bern valley the vineyards, old stone terraces / walls and sandy dirt roads.
It can get quite warm here.

Absolutely undervalued and well suited for a small spontaneous tour.

At first sight an inconspicuous valley; nevertheless beautiful to walk through there, past vineyards and dry stone walls. Especially beautiful in late spring, when everything is in bloom and the first green can be seen on the vineyards, and in autumn, when the leaves of the grapevines change color. In the morning it is still relatively quiet there and you only meet a walker with his dog.

Hiking between apple trees in the valley and grapevines on the slopes, only the chirping of birds in the background, great.

A very idyllic valley, especially during the heyday
