Nice little place. The Buntsandsteinkirche St. Antonius, dating from 1744, is worth seeing. Above the church is the "Queen of Peace", an artistically crafted memorial from 1947. Herrenwies is a popular starting point for cross-country tours in the surrounding forests in winter.
