Geroldsauer Waterfall

A beautiful landscape. For me, it's currently the most beautiful thing in the region. When the sun shines, the green color of the moss on the rocks and stones really comes into its own. It's also a great place to cool your feet: there are many flat areas in front of the waterfall.

Insanely crowded in midsummer. Although we started at 11 a.m. and only walked a tiny 4km lap, the tour was completely overcrowded and increasingly full.

A pleasant place to stay in summer. You can walk the path directly along the Grobbach, it's nice to walk. The Cabin by the Falls is a lovely place to take a break.
In winter, nature conjures up particularly beautiful ice sculptures and it's not that crowded. The Bütthof also offers the opportunity to strengthen yourself. After that, there are no other options that can be hiked.
