Maille Park Esslingen

A small park that extends between the two Neckar arms below the Inner Bridge. The park is named after the ball game "palle-malle" coming from Italy in the baroque age, a forerunner of today's croquet, which was probably played here with pleasure.

The area was once regularly flooded and therefore never built.
