The Latem corn windmill 'Koutermolen' or 'Sint-Baafsmolen' is a wooden post mill and was first mentioned in 1373. The original mill was replaced by the current mill in 1614 and it continued to run until 1955. His profile is recognizable on many canvases by Latem painters.
