View of the Leine Valley from Die Gleichen

Yes, it's strenuous altitude (for everyone who drives without a motor, because they can!).
You will be rewarded with a fabulous view of the southern Leine Valley. Information about "the same" and the former castles can be found on boards at the grill hut.
But if you've already gotten up here, you should add a detour to the "old same places".

At the Wittmarshof chapel turn into the forest.
Always keep left at the crossroads, otherwise you'll end up pedaling up a mountain in vain without getting to the same level.

Don't be fooled, the gradient is quite small at the beginning, even if it is long. The last piece, however, is tough.
So save energy.

Anyone who thinks a little cool down is the right thing to do after the ascent to the old castle ruins of Gleichen thunders down here ... with attention to everyone who comes towards you, often riders here :-)
