    The Buschgraben is one of the gems in the landscape of south-west Berlin. Due to the immediate location in the former GDR border area, an attractive flora and fauna could be preserved or even established here. The Buschgraben begins on the Berlin side at the Buschgrabenbecken near the Königsweg and then leads through Zehlendorf in canals and partly underground. In the Kleinmachnow area is the idyllic and natural-looking Buschgrabensee (or Buschsee), a refuge for plants, birds and now also beavers. The further course of the Buschgrabenniederung in the direction of the Teltow Canal is also characterized by unspoilt trees and reed-like plants. The Kleinmachnow section is particularly recommended for hikes and walks. The circular hiking trail covers a distance of around four kilometers.
