On the rock there is an iron summit cross erected in 1843, which reminds of the founding of the St. Afra State School with Latin inscriptions.

At the time of my visit (11/2020) the cross on the base was stolen again. The stone is related to the holy martyr Afra von Augsburg († 304), in Meißen there is the state high school of the same name Sankt Afra.
