The Bennokanzel is the perfect place if you want to enjoy the view of the Elbe and the Albrechtsburg in Meißen, because the view you have from here is really wonderful.But you are also standing here on the ruins of a castle, which was probably built in the 11th / 12th. Century on this mountain spur was built. The remains of the castle were only recently discovered.

The Albrechtsburg was used after its dismissal from the yard accessories from 1710 to 1863 as manufacturing plant of the famous Saxon porcelain manufactory.
