No matter the season, Südpark is a popular recreational spot for Spandau residents. In summer, you can watch the ducks merrily glide past from the meadow. In particularly cold winters, Südpark Lake freezes over completely, beckoning visitors to ice skate around the small island. In bad weather, you can find one or two small wooden mushrooms for shelter.

The South Park is a park in Berlin-Spandau, district Wilhelmstadt. It borders directly on the Heerstraße, opposite the Scharfen Lanke. In Südpark is the Südparksee. Paths invite to walks and benches to linger.
