Strictly speaking, this mountain is the New Hahneberg. In contrast to the 67 meter high Hahneberg, on which a fortress was built, the Neue Hahneberg is an artificial survey. Hikers can expect a beautiful view over the city on the now verdant mountain.

In addition, up here is the small Bruno H. Bürgel Observatory. The observatory is run by an amateur astronomical association and can be visited regularly as part of a guided tour. More information at bhb-sternwarte-berlin.de
