The sewage fields are criss-crossed by paths and ditches. The trails can be well integrated into walks and hikes, as a connection between Gatow and Wilhelmstadt. As I found out locally, they are sometimes used by riders and dog owners who go with their dogs.

Nothing has trickled here since 1970. Sewage treatment plants have made the sewage fields superfluous. Today it has become a beautiful recreation area.
