Every first weekend in August big beach party. For campers, tents, day tourists everything available - supermarket, small very good restaurants - especially the ice cream parlor - a maze, children's playground, water slide, etc. Just explore.
If you arrive by car and then want to hike or cycle, there are plenty of parking spaces available. In high season unfortunately subject to a charge.
