Romantic landscape

The path leads along easy alpine pastures, over flowering meadows and between romantic-looking fir trees. The views of the Alpstein, the Churfirsten and the Toggenburg are beautiful and the whole area looks really kitschy and romantic. In winter, this area is very suitable for beautiful snowshoe tours and also for touring skis. In its snowy winter dress, this area looks just as romantic as it does in summer.

An easy route from the Selamatt mountain station. The ascent to Amden below the Leistchamm was actually my goal, but because of the continuous snow cover above 1500 m at the end of May 2021, I decided not to do it.

Anyone who likes snowshoeing will love the area. Several access options but perhaps the easiest way is via the Sellamatt chairlift.
