A quiet area on the Green Belt, the former border strip between the FRG and the GDR. The landscape in the area consists mainly of fields, meadows and forest areas. As almost everywhere on the former border strip, there are old "Kollonenwege" of the former GDR border troops. You can ride a bike here (which I do occasionally), but the concrete slabs that make up the old Kollonenwege are mostly full of holes and therefore very bumpy.
Since today's "Green Belt" was "no man's land" in GDR times and was not allowed to be entered, nature could develop here relatively undisturbed.
