The Nemitzer Heide is the largest heathland area in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district. Wonderful heathland with many hiking trails. Most of the paths are made of soft sand, so it's difficult to ride a bike, I would recommend parking your bike at the Nemitzer Heidehaus and then hiking (that's how I always do it).
