The Deusser House (An d'r Kapell 2) is named after the painter August Deusser (1870-1942). In search of a quiet place to work, Deusser came to Monheim in 1906. With his wife and child, he moved into the "House on the River", as it was called at the time. When it was entered in the municipal list of monuments in 1983, its date of origin was assessed as “around 1800”; Fritz Hinrichs, on the other hand, gives the year 1848 in his “History of the Monheimer Höfe” (1959, p. 45).

To eat: Today I only had one french. Onionsoup. A bit oily :-(
The other day I had something right to bite. That was okay.
Last night in the restaurant in the evening there was an upscale ambience and the effort for fine dining. Eight out of ten guests at the table were very satisfied.
