The Urdenbacher Kämpe is a nature reserve in the south of Dusseldorf. The Kämpe is a flood area between the Rhine and one of its old arms, the so-called Urdenbacher Altrhein. Due to its national significance, the Urdenbacher Kämpe has been included in the European protected area system Natura 2000 and has since enjoyed international protection.

Urdenbacher Kämpe is an ideal destination - also suitable for children - for hiking, cycling. There are from Urdenbach to Baumberg beautiful natural sections in every season. The view of the father Rhine or even a ferry crossing in Urdenbach to the historic Zons is always an experience. In Zons there are many restaurants. In the summer, fairy tales are in the open air stage.
