Naumburg is picturesquely located in the western part of the Habichtswald Nature Park. The place and the castle of the same name were first mentioned in a document at the end of the twelfth century. Only a ruin remains of the castle, which was destroyed by fire in 1626. The place with its historical center, the imposing Catholic parish church St. Crescentius and the many beautiful half-timbered houses is lovingly prepared and definitely worth a visit.
