Alt-Osenau consists of a small settlement with well-preserved half-timbered buildings including a bakery (Backes) near an old estate. The highest point is 151 m above sea level. NN the Hahnenberg. According to oral tradition, this was once a witches' dance place. A stream flows through Osenau, which, although not officially named, is referred to by the residents as Pissbach.
