From 1900, trains ran here between Busenbach and Pforzheim. At the beginning there were also a lot of freight trains. The route from Ittersbach became the property of Pforzheim in 1931. From 1968 to 1970 the station had no connection because the line from Langensteinbach was closed.
The Albtalbahn has been running to the station again since 1975. On a changed route.
Not far from here you will also find the old wagon hall. Approx. 50 meters towards the turning loop. Today used as a warehouse.

The Albtalbahn S11 stops at the old station building for the penultimate time, the terminus is Ittersbach Town Hall. Good hikes can be planned from here, e.g. Direction Langensteinbach via horse farm, St Barbara. Or directly into the Albtal, to finally come back to the S11 line and start the journey home.
