Der Ursprung der Altdorfer Würm ist ein kleiner, unspektakulärer und trockener Graben neben eine Wiese. Hinter Altdorf ist ein schon ein kleiner Bach zu erkennen, aber erst bei Ehingen kann man von einem Flüsschen sprechen.
