... so after last week's bankruptcy, I took up Natalie's suggestion and set the Teinacher for this Sunday ... signposted for sure, even with directions for hiking dyslexics ... so only a few hikers could be seen now and then. Really very nice varied hike ... with demands on thigh muscles. Only at Zavelstein Castle was halli galli ... When climbing to the tower there was a traffic light control, it took me too long. Resting places, huts, benches are sufficiently available ...

Encouraged by Alexandra, I also grabbed the big child today and ran straight to the Berndstein. The tour is suitable when it is really muddy because you can mostly walk it on fixed paths. The Bernstein Weg is more of a small road. When we arrived at the rock, the day really showed its hip side. We changed the way back a bit and actually found beautiful forest paths.

Today I chose a hike that had been saved for a long time. Briefly read in ... After a short time I realized that I had made a mistake ... Or I am just too stupid. The moment I saw the treasure chest, it was clear to me that we had to go down the xander blade. And that was anything but the plan. I had read several times that it made no sense, it would have been possible but then reason won out. I was pretty pissed off, not even in the mood to reschedule the hike. So we took the path next to it down. The rest of the hike was on partly very beautiful paths but also on the so-called forest highways, passing the Waldeck Castle, the tour lacks a few panoramic views of beautiful rest areas. Theoretically, you could just run the tour the other way around and pepper it with black paths, then you have the ascent to the xanderklinge ... Well, damage makes you wise.

The plan was to drive to the Rhine today. Via Ettlingen through the Horbach Park, Ettlingen West to the Epplesee. Further in the direction of Neuburgweier ... With an unexpectedly high headwind. At the ferry in Neuburgweiher I wanted to head towards the RHEINBRÜCKE, I passed the Rheinstrandbad, where I had never been before, the power plant and crossed the HAFENSPERRTOR. Then I had to activate the Komoot navigation ... I actually arrived at Schlossplatz in Karlsruhe. It was certainly not the nicest way. In Karlsruhe itself, the bear is tapping .. At least when you come from the village ... So many people ... 😯 After a fat ice cream 🍦 I decided to take the S11🚋 home ... Luckily I found a mask in my backpack You can also be lazy on a holiday 😂

It occurred to me rather late that it would stay light longer today and so I am ready for a scoop of ice cream in Ettlingen ... I had the feeling it was Sunday ... The meadows and benches were occupied ... It's already on a little more spring in the Alb valley. I'm back via Pfaffenrot ... a short, crisp ascent ... Then everything is fine again and you can comfortably watch the sun go down.

Today a borrowed hike again, unfortunately I don't know from whom. I had expected more from the Ebersteinburg .....
Although the tour is not that long, you need a little time because there is just a lot to see ... and you have to be a little careful where you step. Great rocky paths of which there are still some to discover, e.g. B. the rock stairs ... but today we almost stuck to the template. At the old castle there was a bit of a hustle and bustle, many families took advantage of the nice weather. Nice that the tower was open. The rock massif bears pressure ... even more so the many climbers ... this can make one fear and anxiety.

On my last trip to the vineyards, I thought I would drive to Wallberg, the rubble mountain of Pforzheim, Monte Scherbelino, as it is also called, would also be a destination. The wind had an advantage, it blew the rain clouds apart, making it a dry excursion. Great view on the mountain and not a soul. I then chose the way home via the Brötzinger valley, or the old small railway line. Years ago I drove this before and now it is feudally tarred ... at least in sections. Then I briefly turned off the bike path and drove directly to Ellmendingen and also to Weiler in the village ,, .. nice alternative to the headwind.

We have postponed the Sunday tour to today due to the weather. Thanks to Kauai for the nice lap in the sun. We took a look at Gleisweiler first ... I don't think nobody was at home ... everything was dead
and then the almond blossom. Nice gentle tour with a view. 🌸

Today I started running without a precise destination ... let the week end, discover new ways again ... the black ones from Komoot were muddy today ... the trend is for a second pair of walking shoes ... blizzard, sun, fresh air and a few met pretty birds.
