Hiking

Very nice forest area where you can also make a detour to the "wilderness". Then you should, however, bring solid footwear. Less recommended in the rain, as the trails are very fast very muddy and slippery.

The municipal forest area in Vormholz was taken over by the Ennepe-Ruhr district in 1978 as part of a swap deal. The paths open up a varied forest area interrupted by meadows and fields.
