Kemnader See, built in 1979, is the youngest of the Ruhr reservoirs and is located in the triangle of cities between Witten, Bochum and Hattingen.
A sailing harbor, boat rentals, the Heveney leisure pool, a beach volleyball hall, a golf course, an illuminated inline skating track and much more invite walkers, cyclists and inline skaters to get active themselves. Various restaurants, ice cream vans, a beach bar, a mini golf course and playgrounds round off the perfect leisure fun.
