Very nicely designed market place of Marktleuthen, there are several listed buildings like the town hall from 1822, this was a multi-purpose building as a school and town hall until 1915. Furthermore there is the "Evangelical Lutheran Parish Church" St. Nikolaus (built after the city fire of 1641) and two listed fountains. A memorial stone for the 700th anniversary was also installed in front of the town hall, granite stele with the inscriptions 1314 and 2014.

On the market square, there are several listed buildings, including the town hall from 1822. The Protestant parish church of St. Nicholas is also located here. It is an architecturally simple building that was erected after the town fire of 1641. In addition, two listed fountains can be found here.

With around 3000 inhabitants, Marktleuthen is one of the medium-sized towns in the district of Wunsiedel i.
