The Galgenberg, south of Marktleuthen, is a partially wooded hill. In winter, its northern flank is used for skiing and tobogganing. This part is therefore also called the toboggan run. To the south, the terrain hardly slopes down and merges into a plateau with the Pfaffenwald. In the east-west direction, the Galgenberg forms a ridge with the Kühberg.
