Tips
The 20 meter high keep is open to visitors from May to October (from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.) - but only when the weather is nice. When the flag is hoisted on the defense tower, the tower is open and can be climbed free of charge. Schilteck Castle was built around 1200.
