The giant space of lifeThe giant habitat belongs to the cypress family and its natural range is western North America. In Central Europe it was introduced in the 2nd half of the 19th century. The evergreen tree can live up to 1000 years, reach a height of up to 70 meters and a trunk diameter of up to 6 meters. The tree crown is narrow and conical and the bark is broadly furrowed. The flaky leaves have an aromatic, fruity scent. The roots are shallow and extensive, which makes the tree vulnerable to wind throws. Source: Text information board

This giant is very impressive. However, the two information boards are not entirely sure whether these trees of life can grow up to 4 meters or even 6 meters wide.

This path is an experience for the whole family due to many small surprises. In addition, it is a beautiful and varied forest with great, sometimes very old trees. Ultimately, it is also pleasant to walk. These trees stand out and impress.
