There is no Christmas market and the winter village is closed, but the magic of lights is nice to look at, with a mask of course.

big Willersinn round with new camera settings (HDR). I actually have the smartphone for a while. But I had not yet dealt with the various possibilities of the camera. Now I've found that the HDR is definitely helpful in backlighting and different lighting. Let's see how it is with the Accuverbracht on longer tours.

Today I borrowed another tour from BriGitte. We didn't want to walk into the crowds on Sundays when the weather was nice and still have a nice tour. And expectations were met. Probably one km south, on the Silbersee and the Altrhein, there was again a lot of activity and it was just as beautiful here.We walked from the open-air stage in the bush on the Rhine dike to Bobenheim and back at the Eckbach and Nonnenbusch. At the pond without a name, in the nun bush, we had our picnic break.

Parking lot at the open-air stage in the Upper Bush. Then along the Isenach to the estuary and the Rheinuferweg upstream towards Petersau. Back it went over the fields. Despite the nice weather there was little activity.

Inspired by BriGitte's dog tour we went for a walk at the Binsfeld lakes today. It was very varied and was definitely worth it.South of Otterstadt, in addition to the Angelhofer Altrhein, also known as Reffenthal, there is the Binsfeld with seven quarry ponds, four of which are open to the public. The other three are not shown on the map, which I found a bit strange. It was later revealed that this is all private, with weekend houses and locked gates on the access roads. But it doesn't matter, the largest and accessible part is very beautiful. It was quite noisy on the eastern side of the Gänsedrecksee, we initially suspected the autobahn with the Rhine bridge, but it was probably caused by the water motor sport on the Old Rhine. And on the further way the chirping of birds dominated.

From Nackenheim to the RheinTerrassenWeg and back over the EichelsbachTal.I got the tour from Andrea H, shortened it. We liked it very much. After the promising RheinTerrassenWeg there was a lot of variety on the way back through the EichelsbachTal. Thank you for the tour suggestion.

We wanted to park in Schildweg to save us the trip from the village. The public order office just came and kindly informed us that it is locked here and that they are now picking up the parked cars. We were able to change parking spaces and took the first free parking space in town.We walked the Hiwweltour around to the left, we omitted the loop in the east and came back on the tour through the ravine.
