The Edersee also has a very low fill level and the blue-green algae have spread. A shame!

On the 2nd day of vacation, a round through the shady beech forest. The Kellerwald National Park is scenically very beautiful, but also quite hilly 😅
We couldn't see much of the Eder and the Affolderner See because of the trees.
It was a very nice, but also strenuous tour. It is simply too hot for hiking

Today we wanted to do a short exploratory tour from the holiday home. At approx. 30 degrees without shade, that was not a good idea after all 🥵 So we took a shortcut. Due to the long drought, a field with a tractor had burned down. The smell was still in the air. Tomorrow we'll go into the forest.

Gruppenwanderung ab Hilleshagerhöfke
Nach Wochen der unerträglichen Hitze gab es heute eine wunderbare Wanderung, die Rimo wieder hervorragend organisiert hat.🫶 12 Wanderer und 🦮🦮🦮 hatten viel Spaß. Zum Abschluss gab es wieder super leckeres Essen. Allen ein schönes Restwochenende.🥰🤗

Hiking with dogs in the Euregio
After the much too hot weeks of last month, we were finally able to go hiking again today at normal temperatures. With 12 people and 3 dogs, we started from the parking lot of the restaurant Hilleshagerhöfke in Mechelen (NL). It was a short, but beautiful and very relaxing

Today we went to the Gerendal orchid garden again. With the best hiking weather, we started with 8 cheerful hikers and 5 dogs at the train station in Schin op Geul. In between, very dark clouds appeared in the sky, but luckily only a few drops fell.

Hiking with dogs in the Euregio
Today we started with 8 people and 5 enthusiastic dogs from the parking lot at Schin op Geul station [NL].
We hiked along the Geul to the beautiful Schaloen Castle, where we took a coffee break (with cake).
Afterwards, we continued over country paths lined with blooming meadows

At just under 30 degrees, 6 brave hikers with Ayko undertook this beautiful tour starting from Gulpen. It was already very sweaty 🥵, but 2 drink breaks made it bearable. The reward was the delicious pancakes and cold drinks on the shady terrace of the Pannekoekenmolen.
It was another great hiking day 🥾🥾🐶

Hiking with dogs in the Euregio
Around Pentecost, many people have other things on their minds than hiking. That's why we started today with a small group of six people and one dog (Ayko) from the parking lot of the restaurant De Pannekoekenmolen in Gulpen (NL).
